i'm a newbie matcha maker, but i can definitely tell the difference between good/bad quality matcha, and this one is great! i was able to snag some at costco when they had it, should've bought more!
I have been getting ceremonial grade Matcha directly from a company in Japan for a few years now. This has been costly, plus it shipped at a higher rate than from here in the US. I decided to try Sencha ceremonial grade Matcha recently (same grade as I was getting from Japan) I was happily surprised as it was superior in taste and texture to the Japan company's tea. I love it. Cost is lower. Shipping is lower. This Matcha tastes better and foams better. .It's smoother and no tinge of bitterness. I drink it with milk and a touch of sugar both hot and cold. Wonderful. I will continue to order from Sencha Naturals as the pluses for their tea outranks those I have been getting from Japan. I also got some of the mints which are good and I unfortunately ate them too quickly. Thank you Sencha Naturals!!!

I love matcha
It's difficult finding an affordable daily option for a ceremonial grade matcha that I can use for a daily tea for maximum health benefits. Most matcha is either priced for special occasions, or we find the opposite problem with low quality options relegated to "latte land."
The quality in Emperor's Matcha is apparent before taking a sip, with its more vibrant green & foamy top. The depth & flavor is among the best I've ever had, with subtle earthy hints of dark chocolate & vanilla notes.
The icing on the cake, (or foam on the matcha as the case may be,) is the fact that Emperor's is available in a 75 gram bulk bag! The staff is super nice and helpful too. (Please consider a 2-pack option for further bulk savings!)
