I bought this matcha at Costco to try and it’s not bad at all.

Ive been buying the Jade Leaf organic ceremonial grade and have been for about 2 1/2 + years now which is more expensive but it’s the best I’ve found. At least Sencha is letting us know that it is a mixture of 1st & 2nd harvest would be nice to know if it’s half & half or 90 - 10 for the sell? Defiantly much lighter in color, not as rich tasting
Or longer lasting energy but good for the price of what you are getting.

Really bitter and grassy

Really didn’t like this one. The ceremonial grade one in the tin is way better. I was hoping this would be good because it’s sold at Costco but it was so bitter and grassy. Horrible aftertaste and the color is off too- not nice and vibrant :(

Very good quality! Amazing price!

Ordered this matcha because the owner of a local coffee shop near my work had this brand. I trust her judgement with brands since she’s picky about what she gives to her customers. My roommate and I go through matcha quickly and usually pay $10 per week on 1 small bag of it. This bag I bet will last us both probably 3-4 months. This is well worth the bargain and it it good quality!

Glad I found this organic brand.

Great price and amazing value.

I rarely write reviews but had to respond to the most recent one calling this family-owned company "greedy'. I have to assume that they have never purchased any type of high quality matcha powder, It is usually by far MUCH more expensive than this product. A tiny tin or bag can cost 3-4x this or more (and yes i just returned from a trip to Japan). This is organic and sourced from family farms in Kagoshima, Japan...and recommended by nutritionists (this version specifically)...i'm a physician as well for whatever that is worth. You can also buy it in a 3-pack from Costco...even better. Anyway, i think the price is amazing and makes it so that more people can use matcha and have all it's health benefits due to it's affordability. Kudos to both Sencha Naturals and to Costco for carrying it. :-)
