How To Make Matcha
EASY MATCHA MIXING
Mix ½ to 1 tsp. matcha with 1 tbsp. water in a cup to make a smooth paste. Stir in 8 oz steaming hot (but not boiling) water.
TRADITIONAL MATCHA MIXING
Sift 1 to 2 bamboo spoons in a matcha bowl. Pour in 4 oz steaming hot water (but not boiling). Rapidly beat with a bamboo whisk in a zigzag pattern until smooth and frothy.
